My marketing career spans 15 years driving results across the full gamut of strategic marketing, public relations and communications. Having spent the last 10 years working in the tech industry I am a big believer in using data to drive marketing decisions and the power of storytelling to build a brand. I am passionate about building high performing teams that deliver tangible results and putting our customers at the forefront of everything we do.

Career & Background

What inspired you to do what you are doing now?

I fell into working in marketing after previously doing Public Relations for the government. I immediately loved using the creative side of my brain as well as using data to drive decisions and haven’t looked back since!

 

What was your journey and where are you headed in your career right now?

CMO at EventsAir, the world’s most powerful all-in-one event management platform. Our mission is to support event planners to deliver the WOW in every event.

Having recently joined the team, I oversee all of EventsAir global brand and growth efforts, from strategic marketing to content, communications, PR, performance marketing, and creative development.

What drives and inspires you

What are your core values?

Who is your biggest inspiration and why?

I really look up to my Mum. She was one of the first female computer programmers back in 1978. She’s always worked in a male dominated industry and hasn’t ever let it hold her back.

The other thing I really admire about her is her constant thirst for knowledge. After retiring she taught herself how to develop IOS apps and now has a couple on the app store, just for fun.

You as a Mentor

Why have you decided to become a mentor?

I’ve been lucky to have two brilliant mentors over the last few yeas and they’ve really helped me grow as a leader, overcome big challenges and progress my career. I’m looking forward to being able to do the same for someone else.
