Vicki Lee

Head of Broadcast & Content at Publicis Worldwide

Vicki Lee is a BADC hall-of-famer for a reason: she’s Queensland’s most experienced producer, having spent years in agencies, production companies and post-production in Australia and the UK. Basically, what Vicki doesn’t know about production isn’t worth knowing.

Jude Bailey was a great inspiration to me. She managed a successful production company including Steve Irwin Croc Hunter documentaries, raised two kids, worked hard, played hard and was very knowledgable and inspirational in they way she went about her work and what her values were.

You as a Mentor

Why have you decided to become a mentor?

When I started it was a very male environment and there was not a lot of women to ask advice of. I sort of stumbled my way through until I got more confident in what I was doing and how I was doing it. There were a lot of very clever people I had the opportunity to work with and grow from. I have reached a level now that I think it’s time to give back to the next generations coming through.
