I'm a super-connector with a knack for seeing the complete picture. I live for big projects, for innovation, and get a kick from delivering stellar results. I love leading people through empowerment; my team are my drive.

I'm an at-home DJ, a Wikipedia contributor, a mentor and a Street Librarian.

Career & Background

What inspired you to do what you are doing now?

Right now, I’m leading teams through significant change. What’s more inspiring than coaching people through careers, watching people give it a go, watching growth? You don’t have to look far in our industry to be inspired – there’s plenty right on our doorstep.

The piece that keeps me coming back is knowing there’s always a fresh puzzle to solve. I really get a kick picking apart a challenge and getting creative with my options. Knowing there’s always another way to do things inspires me.

Could you tell us a bit about your professional background?

I cut my teeth in little ol’ Brisbane running a variety of Digi teams at an Indie, landed a role at MediaCom in the big city which was *eye opening*, and grew into Agency Lead positions at social platforms.

Today, I’m in an awesome GM role, exploring and learning and leading and loving what GroupM affords me. I work really closely with a super sharp group of people in some very inspiring areas like team architecture, in setting up new divisions, and how to build strong hybrid work environments – if I can keep pushing in that area and build on my career there, I’ll be over the moon.

  • Read the lyric book of your favourite album. A career crossroads is a hard place, and a career decision is a distinctly personal one. You need to go inside, with yourself and what you’re familiar with, connect and listen to what you really want.

You as a Mentor

Why have you decided to become a mentor?

I’ve got more to give!
For the past 5 years I’ve formally mentored a variety of people at a variety of stages. I’m a lifelong learner, and each of these awesome people have taught me something as I’ve been through the process with them.

If I can give back AND gain something myself along the way, that win-win is enough for me to jump in with both feet.
