Career & Background
What inspired you to do what you are doing now?
After a failed start up I swore I’d never do it again, BUT it turns out that world of creating something new and helping others (founders) bring their big hairy audacious goals to life is exactly what my soul needs. Now that I’m in the post acquisition phase of a start up, I’m enjoying keeping that energy and legacy alive whilst adapting to new challenges and visions in a MUCH larger global organisation. It honestly pretty fabulous and I get to partner with some truly inspiring people across multiple business units
Your favourite food for thought
Books
To be honest I don’t like reading that much (controversial no doubt as many people swear by it in these scenarios). My recommendation is make a decision, your gut will tell you if it is right for you, and if you still can’t decipher what it all means just give it ago, either way it will be an opportunity for growth or learning. No ones pathway is truly linear in their career and guarantee you’ll come out the other side better for it no matter what you choose.

Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
Professionally it is Brad Moran, founder and ex CEO of CitrusAd. He was visionary and a selfless leader with so much empathy. His leadership style was so balanced and resonated with me in terms of get the job done, but be a good human whilst making the right business decisions (even if they were hard or unpopular).
You as a Mentor
Why have you decided to become a mentor?
I saw this not only as an opportunity to work with someone who was me in the early stages of my career, but an opportunity to push outside of my comfort zone and say be gone Imposter Syndrome! Hopefully I can impart some learnings along the way for the leaders of tomorrow.
