Currently, Kate leads a team of 35 people on a global brand, with her core focus to inspire creativity and innovation in bringing world-class thinking alive. She's very happy in this role and wants to ensure that she can inspire her team to be the best versions of themselves. She also wants to be able to share the things she's learnt throughout her career with others.

What inspired you to do what you are doing now?

I love seeing ideas come to life. I am a problem solver by nature, and so this job gives me the opportunity to work with people to solve problems. I am curious and love learning, and this job requires this of me every day.

Could you tell us a bit about your professional background and where you are headed in your career right now?

I have been in the media industry since 2003, working across most categories. Currently I lead a team of 35 people on a global brand, with my core focus to inspire creativity and innovation in bringing world-class thinking alive. I am really happy in this role and want to ensure that I can inspire my team to be the best versions of themselves. I also want to be able to share the things I’ve learnt throughout my career with others.

I can’t isolate just one person, rather I am drawn to anyone that is motivated, has self-discipline, is smart and courageous.

Why have you decided to become a mentor?

I would like to give back. I have experienced the benefits of having mentors and it absolutely propelled me forward in many areas of my life. And I particularly want to be part of encouraging females to step into their power.
