Career & Background
What inspired you to do what you are doing now?
As a manager it was: To spark confidence in people and their abilities whilst being a guiding force that leads growth from within; both inside and outside the work environment.
As a marketer it was: To change peoples lives through business, by stopping the adhoc spend on channels, and move brands to a more strategic place, that allowed marketing to be executed at a strategic level – (I basically hate the guessing game that most people play in marketing – strategy first is a must!)
Could you tell us a bit about your professional background and where you are headed in your career right now?
Starting my first business at age 6, I’ve always been interested in business. Now at 31, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Mktg), I use my intrapreneurial business skills to coach people, transform businesses and have enjoyed a decade-long career that spans from radio, business ownership, corporate marketing and agency management. My purpose is to create positive change in people’s lives through business, and I aim to be CEO one day.
