Jenny Travers
Group Business Director at Ogilvy NZ
I have been working in advertising for twenty years. I started as an intern at DDB for a 12 week work placement and ended up staying there 18 years! I am obsessed with anything tennis related and believe that exercise and being outside solves 99% of problems.
Career & Background
What inspired you to do what you are doing now?
I had a lot of great male mentors when I was younger, however I noticed that older/ more senior females tended to either compete or be tough (largely because of the era of working in a male dominated profession).
I want to be the mentor that I wish I had when I was younger.
What was your journey and where are you headed in your career right now?
I started at Ogilvy as a Group Account Director nine months ago after contracting for a year. I would like to run the account service team here and learn about all aspects of the business. |
