Career & Background
What inspired you to do what you are doing now?
I grew up as a ballerina and was shattered my prima ballerina dreams weren’t going to come true, so now to have come full circle and be able to create visual stories and develop a social brand strategy for Queensland Ballet is very fun!
Could you tell us a bit about your professional background and where you are headed in your career right now?
Being a mum to a 2yo I don’t have hungry career eyes at the moment – what I do have is a burning desire to always be doing something I love. If I am sacrificing time away from my son to be at work, it better be doing something I enjoy.

- Optimism
Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
I always think of Zoe Foster-Blake. She is a true queen. She has a unique voice and writes brilliant. She has built go-to from the ground up and owns it all. She sampled, and tested and tried again until it was exactly what she needed and then followed it up brilliantly with a beautiful looking brand.
You as a Mentor
Why have you decided to become a mentor?
I wish there had been someone to lend an ear when I was working out what I wanted to do who had tried a variety of different things – not just one thing – to give me some guiding advice. I want to encourage the next gen of female leaders to go after exactly what they have envisioned for yourself and Im ready to help them do it!
