Career & Background
What inspired you to do what you are doing now?
I love helping people grow in their career. I love bringing together disparate creative and technical and data teams to create some great experiences for customers whilst at the same time giving my team members new skills and growth opportunities. I’m hugely passionate about women in leadership and supporting women’s growth in a way that does not compromise their family values and enables long term sustained happiness.
Could you tell us a bit about your professional background and where you are headed in your career right now?
I started as a DM marketing, moved into Digital and leading teams and grew a passion for all things martech, personalisation using data to create rich, beautiful digital experiences. I love being a change champion, a tech nerd, an agile enthusiast and mostly I love enabling teams. I’ve been fortunate to grow my career at ANZ where I’ve been most recently a Head of Marketing and a Value Stream lead looking after some pretty cool streams of work in our digital transformation.

Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
I love looking up to inspiring female leaders and often wish I could them “when I grow up”. They range from Jacinda Arden and Michelle Obama on the political side to Cate Blanchett and Reese Witherspoon on the entertainment side. In corporate, I have such a lot of respect for Sheryl Sandberg.
You as a Mentor
Why have you decided to become a mentor?
I am hugely passionate about women in leadership and have a belief that you can be a women leader and a successful family and social life if you take the time to set it up and get the right support in place. It excites me to help women learn from my career experiences to to pay forward some of the amazing support that I’ve been fortunate enough to have access to.
