What inspired you to do what you are doing now?
Media has the ability to change the way people think and to me that’s very powerful. The other interesting aspect of media is you get to work with the brightest most innovative people in the world who have the ability to create cutting edge ideas that are good for people, businesses and society.

With over 13 years of experience in media across India, China, Vietnam and Australia gives me a unique understanding of the cultural context across these nations. While people and their motivations are similar, the way of achieving it differs.

Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
Indira Nooyi, former CEO of Pepsico is my inspiration. To see a brown women lead in a country different from her birth country and doing such an incredible job fills me with pride and hope. Pride was what one of our own has achieved and hope for what the world hold for the future.
You as a Mentor
Why have you decided to become a mentor?
The real role of a leader is to create future leaders, one does that by flattening the learning curve for the younger members so that they learn from your experience. The best way to do that is by mentoring. Mentoring gives me massive satisfaction – the feeling of having made a difference to someone else’s life.
