Christine Watts
Client Director APAC, DEPT®
Hello, I'm Christine. I’m currently a Client Director at DEPT® in Sydney. I'm proud to have built my career at some of the worlds best agencies, from Wunderman Sydney and New York (where I was promoted five times in eight years), to DDB and 303 MullenLowe in Australia. I've had the opportunity to nurture and grow some of the worlds most incredible, iconic, global brands; including Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Westpac, Citi, Schick, Campari Group, Pernod Ricard Global and Vodafone.
I thrive on crafting integrated brand experiences that resonate deeply with consumers. I find joy in mentoring the next generation of talent, fostering a culture of empathy and support.

Career & Background
Could you tell us a bit about your professional background?
I started client side, moved agency side and haven’t looked back. I was an account manager to begin with, and worked my way up to VP, Director of Business Development for Wunderman in North America. I then had my two beautiful babies and moved back to Australia where I work as a client director (GAD). My aim is to grow the team here at DEPT through creating a nurturing and supportive environment.
What inspired you to do what you are doing now?
I honestly fell into this career and just kept going. I really enjoy working with clients and love seeing work out ‘in the wild’.
