Career & Background

What inspired you to do what you are doing now?

I am a go-getting person. I need change, challenge, fun and diversity – PR and media gives me all of this!

Could you tell us a bit about your professional background and where you are headed in your career right now?

I have over a decade of experience in Public Relations, working across a range of industries including arts, tourism, government, and major events. Currently, I’m with Aruga, where I’ve been since 2019, leading and supporting impactful PR campaigns and building strong relationships within the industry. My work has included high-profile clients like Brisbane Festival, Horizon Festival, and Tourism and Events Queensland, and I’ve developed a reputation for securing top-tier media coverage and elevating brand visibility.

In terms of where I’m headed, I’m focused on continuing to refine my creative thinking, expanding my media relationships, and helping clients grow their presence in meaningful ways. I’m particularly excited about further exploring the intersection of storytelling and strategic PR, as well as taking on more leadership opportunities. I also aim to continue building long-term relationships, both with clients and within the industry and team, ensuring that I can deliver even more impactful campaigns in the years to come.
