Career & Background

What inspired you to do what you are doing now?

What has always inspired me about this industry is that it sits at the intersection of creativity, people and problem solving. I’ve always loved making things, whether that is a campaign, a new way of working, or helping shape a team or idea into something tangible.
I’m really energised by connecting people and bringing together different perspectives.

Some of the most exciting moments in my career have come from seeing what happens when people with different backgrounds, skills and ways of thinking come together around a shared challenge. That diversity of thinking almost always leads to better ideas and stronger outcomes.

I also enjoy that my role allows me to touch every side of the business across people, process and profit. I find it rewarding to help teams thrive, shape how we work, and ensure the work we do delivers real impact for clients and the business.

Finally, I’m naturally curious and enjoy environments where things are constantly evolving. This industry constantly challenges you to learn, adapt and grow, which is something that has always kept me motivated.

Could you tell us a bit about your professional background and where you are headed in your career right now?

I’ve spent the past 17 years working in agency environments across the UK, APAC and Australia, primarily in roles focused on client leadership, digital transformation and customer experience. My career has spanned everything from CRM and digital platforms through to brand campaigns and large-scale transformation programs, which has given me a broad perspective on how businesses connect with customers.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with a range of global and local brands including Google, Toyota, McDonald’s and Wine Australia, often helping organisations navigate change — whether that’s evolving their digital ecosystems, launching new platforms or building more integrated ways of working across agencies and internal teams.

Today I’m Chief Client Partner at Digitas Australia, where I lead major client partnerships and focus on building strong, trusted relationships that drive both creative impact and commercial growth. A big part of my role is also developing talent and helping teams grow, which is something I’ve always found incredibly rewarding throughout my career.

Who is your biggest inspiration and why?

I’ve been fortunate to be inspired by many incredible female leaders throughout my career. One who stands out, particularly at a formative time in my journey, is Becs Bezzina.

I really admired her fearless energy, ambition and leadership style. She had a way of pushing for bold thinking while also backing her team and creating space for people to grow.

Watching how she navigated challenges with confidence and conviction had a big impact on how I think about leadership today.

More broadly, I’ve always been inspired by women who lead with both strength and generosity, and who actively lift others as they progress in their careers. That has definitely shaped the kind of leader and mentor I aspire to be.
